I had not been to Tijuana since last October so a trip was long overdue. I told the SO that I was going fishing down south as my cover story and I would need to leave Friday afternoon and I would be back on Sunday afternoon. Supposedly the tuna and albacore action was excellent but I am such a lousy fisherman that I knew I would not catch anything again. Since I could not get away until late afternoon I decided that I had to come up with a better way to get to the Border than driving on a Friday afternoon, I wanted to miss the LA traffic. I decided that I would take the train (Amtrak) to San Diego and a cab to the border. So earlier in the week I made reservations at La Villa Zaragoza and purchased my train ticket.

Looking back on it buying a train ticket was probably the best and smartest thing I have done in a long time. I caught the train at 3 p.m. about 60 miles north of LA and it was a five hour trip but the drive would have taken at least that long or longer if I hit heavy traffic. I took the paper and a magazine to read and I had a few beers on an uneventful trip on Amtrak arriving at the San Diego train station 10 minutes late at 8 in the evening. I walked to the front of the station which is directly across from the trolley station and thought about taking the trolley but didn’t want to waste another 40 minutes so I caught a cab to the border and was walking through the gates at 8:20 p.m. walked directly to a yellow cab (the only one I took all weekend) and was checking into the Zaragoza at about 8:35 p.m. and I was cleaning up to head out for the evening 5 minutes later. Just as a note, the reservations were another smart move as the Zaragoza was booked for the weekend.

As it was a pleasant evening I decided to walk to the Zona from the hotel which only took about 10 minutes. Revolution seemed quiet for a Friday evening with not many people walking around. When I arrived in the Zona I decided to walk the alley first before heading to AB to get a feel for the evening. There were plenty of SG’s out with a rather nice selection even with the alley torn apart for construction. I had never been with one of a SG before so I looked around and decided to go into Hong Kong Bar first and have a couple beers first. HK had a good crowd and the girls that were dancing look very good to me, but I just downed a couple beers quickly and decided to grab a SG to take the edge off. I walked out of HK and back toward Miami/Cascadas where I had earlier seen some spinners and started a conversation with Erica form DF. We came to a mutual agreement of $25 sin ropa and we were headed up the stairs for my first time with a SG. Erica was very pleasant to talk to (she only speaks Spanish) and looked very exotic to me, almost Asian. She is about 5 ft. without heels and maybe 100 lbs. a true spinner. She gave a decent cbj and we did the standard tree positions. I would not call this a gfe but after not being to the Zona for nearly 10 months it did the trick. We said our goodbyes and I was on my way to AB to see what was in store for me next.

A short walk to AB and I am parting the red velvet curtains. I walk around just taking in the sights and seeing if I recognize any favorites, but most faces seem new to me. So being a nice guy I start buying them drinks, and all three of us are talking. They offered me a threesome but I declined. So since I was getting such a good vibe I decided to head upstairs with Elizabeth. Never asked how much and didn’t bother to negotiate before going upstairs. I found a place at the bar and was watching the show as it was going on at this time. CC does have some good dancers IMHO and was just enjoying a beer and looking at the show when along comes Beatrice from Vera Cruz and asks me if she could join me. When I say yes she asks me to move with her to the end of the bar behind the alcove. Beatrice is and one with exotic looks, almost Filipina. She was about 5’4 “, 115 lbs, 34B’s, dark hair, morena looking. I again was very attracted to her but had finish a session and eaten so I didn’t think I could go just yet. We ended up taking for about an hour me buying ficha drinks of course when I figure it’s time to go upstairs or cut bait. I went upstairs. Beatrice was a true gfe, she started kissing me we were undressing and we really started making out. The next thing I know were are in the 69 position and I’m DATY while she is giving an excellent BBBJ. It a good thing that I had already had two sessions or I would not have lasted long. Food was good and hit the spot.

As I left there I was thinking of getting a massage at Azteca but decided to just head over to the zona instead. It was a little after noon at this point so I again walked the alley to see what was out. The selection again was good but nothing peaked my interest to I ended up in AB so I could sit and watch as everyone came in to work. The selection was very good by about 2 pm as there were plenty of girls to choose from and there were not many guys yet. I still was in a bit of a funk and just nursing a beer and enjoying the show when Veronica from Vera Cruz walks by and says hello. I believe that Farsider has reviewed her. She was sweet and we had a pleasant conversation down stair and I was getting a good vibe so we go upstairs to continue the conversation. Not a complete gfe but I would repeat as she was very nice and took good care of me to try and get me out of funk. Again it was the standard cbj and three positions. I went back into AB and had a few more beers and walked the alley again but felt a little tired so I ended up going back to the hotel to take a quick nap so I would be well rested to the evening.

Awoke from my nap about 6:30 pm and showered to get ready for the evening. I wasn’t sure were I was going to get dinner so I just ended up eating at Ricardo’s and walked over to Revo and caught a taxi libre to the Zona. I took these whenever I didn’t feel like walking and they are easy to flag down. Walked in to AB about 8 pm and it was your usual Saturday night. The place was packed and you could barely walk around. I eventually got a seat right at the bar as you enter by the chicas changing room and had a few beers. This was a great place to sit as the big fan blew right down the bar and you could see all the chicas coming and going. Talked to a few ladies but nothing was of interest up to this point. When Ximena (sp?) says hello to me and we start to talk. She is from Acapulco, 5 ft, 120 lbs, dark curly hair. Thinking back now the hair could have been a wig, not sure. She was a little wide at the hips but something about her really had me interested. The vibe again was good and we were on our way upstairs. Again I don’t know if I am just making better selections or if I should have gone to Vegas this weekend because she gave me a gfe on a Saturday night. She started with a bbbj and I moved her around to 69 so I could DATY, the standard 3 positions. Again she was a bit on the wide side but not fat, It really worked for doggie though. I say what the hell and we are on our way. I didn’t do the usual interview and had no idea what to expect except she was very good looking. I figured at least she would be a trophy. Her name was Sara, I don’t recall from were. She was about 22, 5’2”, 115 lbs, light brown hair, she wore braces and was cute. She was well proportioned. I am glad you liked the report. This was my first trip report but I have been going down to TJ a few times a year since 96. I actually wrote some notes so I could remember. The taxi libre was only $3 back at 8 am on Sunday including tip.

Actually I wanted to know how much you paid to go by taxi from the Santa Fe train station in San Diego to San Ysidro.

That was $38, could have taken the trolley for a lot less, but I would have had to taken the 12 noon train back.

Great Report as I learned ab0out prices to be expected without negotiations. As for the cab prices in TJ it is best in my experience to use the Taxi Libre and to be sure the driver uses the meters. The cab to Vila Zaragos from AB is under $2.00 including a 20% tip. the other cab companiues will ask $5.00 or more for the same ride.
