2011/03 RTGooch's Lima March Madness
RT here. This report covers my Lima trip, 14-22 March.
This was my first non-girlfriend trip in a while; I had been dating a very nice girl who lives there, but I had recently decided that the relationship wasn’t for me, and we broke it off a week before this trip.
I had booked these specific dates to coincide with the first four days of the NCAA basketball tournament. I have always wanted to spend those days ensconced in front of a bank of televisions, sitting with the wiseguys, and taking in 48 games in four days. The Atlantic City Casino has a sports book on the second floor, and that was where I planned to make my base of operations from Thursday morning through Sunday night.
Recently, I had read another traveler’s trip report, and he had broken his trip down into categories, rather than a chronological diary. I thought that it had read well, so I am going to give it a spin.
