I had a real diappointment the last night of my stay in Monterrey. Just wanted to relay the details of this circumstance, not as a criticizm of Monterrey, but as a warning that no matter how much we think we might know a place, or how familiar we might think we are with a particular venue, shit happens. Don't get me wrong, I love MTY, but you have to constantly be aware of the probably thousands of ways things could go astray, and this is just one of them.

I had a terrible experience last night with a new girl I bar fined from Givenchy. Turns out that she was very non-compliant, had never done a salida, didn't have much, if any, sexual experience, wanted to rest rather than work...it was really awful.

So, I told her I was very unsatisfied with her and that I would be going back to Givenchy to get my money back. I had negotiated, and received approval from Jorge, the manager of the bar, prior to barfining her,that she would stay 3 hours. She had only been with me about two hours, and had not done much of anything with me other than talk. She allowed me to perform oral on her, but that was almost it. Then, when we started to do it, she kept insisting I was done after about 3 minutes. So, I told her no and told her I was not going to pay her for doing nothing.

Anyway, I told her to go, and that I would be leaving to meet with the manager. She tried to talk me out of it, and she called on her Nextel to somebody, and it sounded like she was trying to summon some help so I wouldn't report her. So, I made a fake call to security downstairs, and told her they were on the way up. She finally got ready and I escorted her downstairs and out of PDA.

When we were on the street, I just left her standing there, and took a taxi to see the manager right away. I actually arrived there before she did. The manager came out after she arrived and we were both standing there outside the building.

She told him her story in Spanish, and I tried to tell him my side in elementary Spanish. He seemed like he believed me, and told me that he knew I was a good client for many years, and that I never caused any problems after bar fining many girls out of there. This girl is new, and this was, according to her, her one and only salida. I believe it. Her performance was terrible.

It always surprises me how some of these kinds of girls, professional erotic dancers, are sometimes so inept at their own sexual prowess. This girl was like a reluctant junior high school girl, and she seemingly had no idea of how to stimulate a man. Some refer to them as Starfish, and I think you could appropriately characterize her that way. What a frickin' disappointment.

Anyway, the manager, Jorge, told me that he could not touch the bar's money, the bar fine amount of 350 pesos, but that he would refund it too me if he had the authority. He told me that my refund would have to come out of the girl's part of the money. She had agreed to go for 1000 pesos total, and I guess the bar got their cut, 350 pesos. So, she was only going
to get 650 pesos out of the deal. But, he convinced her to refund 350 pesos of her money to me, which she did. The girl's name at the club is Daniella, by the way, so...BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IMHO, the bar management has a responsiblity to ensure that their girls provide decent service, to make sure their girls know the depth of their responsiblity when they accept a bar fine, and to ensure that customers are not seen as opportunities for a swindle. I have never had this happen to me before, and so far, I am considering it to be an isolated incident. But, I will be much more vigilant in the future.

This girl claimed to have formerly worked at a very expensive club in Monterrey called Amnesia. But, I don't think I believe her. She was good looking, but she really didn't look that good. Girls working at Amnesia are generally pretty exceptional talent or they don't survive there...well, maybe she did work there...for a couple of days.

She kept telling me how much she used to earn over at Amnesia for doing nothing, and that I should be happy she went with me to the hotel for such a small amount of money. She kept telling me that she would get 3000 pesos for just a covered blow job, and 15 minutes of sex, at Amnesia. I got no blow job, and only about 3 minutes of sex, and was not even close to completion.

She tried to convince me I was getting a real bargain. I told her that no self respecting Mexican local would pay 1000 pesos for three minutes of screwing, and that if that was how it was going to be, I was going to see her manager immediately.

I gave her every opportunity to make it right before I kicked her out and went back to Givenchy to speak to Jorge, the manager. I was hoping she would see the error of her ways, and decide that she owed a decent level of service. I really tried reasoning with her for probably a half hour before I just gave up, and decided to kick her out and go see the manager.

Also, something I discovered after I went with her to the hotel was that she had been in a car accident the prior week and was all banged up from it. She actually told me she had a lot of pain, and I could tell she was actually feeling pretty rotten, which probably explains part of her attitude problems. She had a large bruise on her right cheek, and several bruises on her legs, things that were not visable to me in the privados because they must have been covered with makeup. When I saw her in the privados there was no hint of such a condition.

Don't get me wrong, I have compassion for someone who is feeling muscle pain and bruising from a car accident, and not wanting to work because she is feeling like shit. I wouldn't want sex under those circumstances either. I am not a heartless guy. Quite the contrary. But, I told her that even though I have compassion for her circumstances, that does not mean that I want to spend $100 FOR NOTHING!!!!!! IT IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY to pay for her automobile damage and medical bills without receiving something of reasonably equal value in return.

Perhaps if her physical condition were up to par, then things might have been different. But who knows, she may have this same attitude all the time regardless of any pain she might have been in...maybe that's why she couldn't make it at Amnesia, if in fact she ever actually worked there. Besides, moving from Amnesia to Givenchy is quite a sizeable demotion, IMHO.

Anyway, she told me she only did the salida because she totaled her car, and she needed the money, and that she had never done a salida before. So, obviously, she saw my 1000 pesos as a quick means to an end, and
probably had no intention of providing decent service to begin with.

In the end, I felt that I had been taken by the bar management and their girl, and I was not happy with their settlement. But, I was actually quite pleased with my ability to negotiate with the manager for a partial refund anyway.

However, I have to be honest, I did have some help from a couple of young gringos who just happened along as I was negotiating with the manager. They helped clarify the communication between myself and the manager, which was already on the right track anyway, but their help was very timely.

These guys were down from Laredo, and they were gringo young guys who spoke fluent Spanish. They just saw me standing with the manager waiting while the girl was telling him her side of the story, and they wanted to know which of the clubs were the best ones to visit in town.

When they first approached me, they didn't really know I was involved in a negotiation to get my money back. But, they could obviously see I was one of them, "a gringo," and so they decided to inquire about my best recommendations in town. They were very supportive, and after hearing both sides of the story, they were telling the manager that the girl was full of crap, and that I was being swindled.

One thing we she all attempt to do is to pre-qualify, with the management, what is expected of the girls when we bar fine them, and to insist that they take some degree of responsibility for service levels. If they choose not to, then only bar fine your favoritas, girls you know you can depend on. Due to this circumstance, in the future, unless I personally know the girl, I may turn to Givenchy as a last resort over Infinito and Matehuela.

It's too bad the effect something like this has to have on the future business of an otherwise good establishment. Until that night, Givenchy was tied with Infinito as my number one, economical source of "bar-fineable" girls. But now, after having seen the commitment of management to customer service, I will be much more careful in the future about spending my money there.

I have been avoiding the practice of buying drinks for girls because of the expense, and I've been trying to confine my activities to testing them out in the privados for a couple of songs, and then, if I think they will be good, I bar fine them.

Well, there may actually be some merit in also spending a little money on additional privados, or a couple of drinks, or merely interviewing them over a couple of different visits before you take the plunge after all. There is really no way of knowing in advance that you might end up with a dudd. But, taking the time, and, yes, even spending the fecha money to get to know your bar fine candidate might be the wiser path in the end.

My problem is, I don't always have the time to scrutinize candidates like I should. But, if you don't, then you run the risk of this very same thing happening to you, and the managers of the bar are not going to back you up if the chica is a dudd.

With all that having been said...I still love Monterrey, and will probably return again on business either the week of October 30th or November 6th. I am truly a glutten for punishment :-)

But, it has always seemed to me that the satisfaction level of the customer in Asia is a much higher priority with bar management. Certainly, your expertise in Asia far exceeds my experience, but I have always thought that the bars in Thailand and AC are pretty good at ensuring that the girls give their customers a good time. But, in Mexico, as Porker has pointed out to me in a PM, they are only concerned with adding to the receipts of the bar and care nothing about customer service/satsifaction.
