How many times have I been to Costa Rica?
This trip happened in October, I am an idiot plain and simple. I met a girl in august and came back for her birthday. Her name was “wow as I’m typing this I forgot and had to pull up my last trip report” Wendy. The working girl I feel head over heels for. I had big plans for this return trip, taking her to the wickedly overpriced tabacoon resort at volcano arenal. She has kids; we talked many times about her getting rid of them for the weekend. I was about to make a reservation and for some reason I stopped. Thankfully so, because it saved me lots of money and grief. So enough with the intro, let me start one of my more boring trip reports.

Day 1:

Arrived in costa rica from ft.lauderdale , good price on spirit $180 round trip. In previous reports I complained about spirit airlines. I’ve come to the conclusion they all suck, so just go for the best price. Once I hit the ground, I called Wendy, no answer, left a message. I had some lunch at the presidente with my father who is living down there full time. Called Wendy again and finally got a response. For some reason she didn’t seem as warm and loving as before “wow a warm and loving horror” the fact I had a birthday present for her may have helped her get off her ass and to come see me. I mean its not like my return wasn’t planned and talked about many times. Finally she agrees to meet me @ 3:30 outside the presidente. Well I take a shower and get cleaned up. I head downstairs and wait for her with a gift I got her for her birthday. Well I wait and wait, and at about 4pm, I’m about to head in and there Wendy appears, looking great! We sit at the bar and have a few drinks, talk and drink more. She says she doesn’t work at the delrey anymore and works at a supermarket stocking shelves. Finally we head upstairs and I give her a gift I got for her. She got a nice digital camera, after we watch some TV, and then I want my present. Got a CBJ, wtf ,2 months before she was BBBJ it , who knows , but I kept quiet, fuck her for about an hour and can’t bust a nut? I took some painkillers on the flight, so I am assuming that was the issue. She leaves early, can’t spend the night or go to dinner. I’m pretty pissed off and walk her to a cab burning with rage. Since I never use cabs that are parked we walked down ave7 south a bit. On the way back up the hill I passed a bar, I believed called 1830, for its street number. As I am walking past this hole in the wall, I hear my name being yelled. I see its jonnie the street hustler, from my august trip. I come over and sit down with him and one of his fellow drug dealers. We drink a ton of beers; it’s definitely neat to be the only gringo in the bar. So Besides the people trying to sell me drugs or pimp skinny sickly looking girls to me. No one dared bugged me. When I drink and have issues, I get a weird glaze over me, like I would want to kill, I think I got dropped on my head a few times as a kid. LOL! Eventually I buy a small sack from him, pretty cheap , its nothing special , but it will smoke. After this I head over to KFC , right next to the presidente and get some food. Definitely the first time I’ve ever walked into a KFC shit faced, ate and then I headed to play some black jack , did really well. I Didn’t go get any more pussy, instead slept.

Day 2:

Had some breakfast downstairs at the presidents morning breakfast buffet. Guys , this place is getting cheap, the food is crappy now and less of it. GRRRR . I meet up with my family living down there and head over to the volcano arenal. Saw the volcano, and walked around , Yippee! No ASS for me that night.

Day 3:

Explored La Fortuna , the town below the volcano , it’s a pretty place and small. Everyone is friendly, definitely a place to take a chica for a mini-vacation. No chicas for hire or drugs for sale, for once I was relived for these conditions, and too spend some time with family for a day. Drove back to jaco, instead of hitting the bettle bar , I got so wasted after dinner and stayed in , plus the monsoon rain helped in my decision.

Day 4:

Drove back to san jose , I got dropped off at the presidente , from there I got settled in. I called wendy and someone else picked up her phone and gave me some bullshit story. Then invited me to her house in Aljuelita , area south of san jose full of migrants and drugs , generally a real bad area. I asked one of the hotel clerks about it for shits and giggles, even though I already decided against venturing out to a bad area alone. He told me I was nuts to go and there’s shooting and stabbings there often and no other gringos. So I called Wendy back and told her to come to the presidente, no dice, the friend who answered the phone said they were lesbian lovers. Just thinking about this shit pisses me of still. Oh well lesson learned, “you can’t make a HO a house wife”. I told wendy we could meet for breakfast, fuck her I had other plans in mind though. But for the record I fell for my 1st Spanish horror and learned to not fall for them in the future , because no matter how well you treat them , etc…. your still a piece of shit that spits out money. So after learning all of this and playing phone tag with wendy in my hotel room , I decided I was going out to have a good time. I got some dinner at chelles , my favorite 24hour café on the corner of the street on the way to the delerey. Then I played some black jack at the presidente casino. I came to the table with $50 and left with $200 , so i cashed out and headed for the delrey. The delrey was doing ok this trip. I still love the looks you get when you first walk in, the girls eye you like fresh meat. I strolled past the cashier and low and behold it was the hot Columbian from my july trip “lost in costa rica for 5 day”. I approach her and can tell she doesn’t remember me , why should she. As usual she grabs me and says lets go. I got a great idea then, I told her $300 for 2 hours. Wow her eyes lit up , so I tell her to wait I have to goto the bathroom. Ha Ha I never came back and had no intention of ever going with her , even for $50 , because she is such a hardcore bitch. It was funny to covertly watch her looking for her $300 fool “me” , so I moved on and took a seat at the side bar near the elevator. That’s my usual spot , less crowed and its lit very well , so you can see the chicas clearly unlike the dark blue marlin bar. I sit down and chill out , well a hot light skinned Dominican and her friend approach me. I buy a few round of corona and all is well. Well this chica sits with me through the whole ALCS game 7 , and has been real nice , so I figure lets go. On a side note her friend was 19 and had braces and looked 16-17 , I almost had to go with her instead, but I felt bad for the older (26) Dominican who had sat with me and been my date all night at the bar. So I order one more drink and we leave. We walked back from the delrey to the presidente with minimal issues , one street kid kept bugging me , Told him to fuck off and kept walking. If you mean business and show it , they usually will go after easier people I’ve found. Walk like you have 10foot dick and are armed and will shoot him. It works wonders.

We get back to the room and turn on that Spanish dance channel , the girls love it . Well I get a lap dance and slow strip show. As she starts to undress , she says $250 for the whole night. I’m pissed, we agreed on $200.00 for all night , plus some morning action. $200 is high for me , but since I hadn’t spend any mongering money the whole trip and we had some chemistry I said wtf. I get pissed and call her bluff. Its evil what they do , a guys dick is hard and she’s taking her clothes off and then the hustle comes. Well I called her bluff and said “NO” and promptly started getting dressed and told her were going back to the bar. She started whining about spending all of the time with me in the bar. I told her that’s her time , not mine. So I see the situation turning real sour. I was feeling bad because I had made terms at the bar and sat and drank with her for a few hours to get our chemistry ok. She was still fucking a stranger , but at least we got warmed up at the bar a little. So she agrees to $200 finally , by this time my mood is starting to go bad. The cherry here is she wants to be paid up front. At this point I’m almost to the point of flat out throwing her out and getting pissed. So instead of losing my cool , I throw her $100 and said she will get the rest in the morning, to cover my ass, if she leaves early , were even! I stick the $100 between her tits like a stripper and start undressing her. She starts to seem not happy , so I take it back and tell her to leave. My dick promptly got sucked and I put the $100 in her purse. That night she mellowed out once I cracked her hooker hard shell. She had family in the DR , wants to be a clothing buyer/importer. We had a great fun GFE night of good sex many times. I treated her like a real girlfriend the rest of the night and told her I was one of the good guys…..yada yada yada . Well I had an awesome night, definitely on my top 5 sexual encounters of mongering in CR. Woke up and broke the morning wood off in her, took a shower ,paid her the other $100 and she was grateful. She told me many guys don’t pay and that’s why she was so worried last night. Whatever, we had breakfast and I sent her on her way. No pictures I’m really sorry. Totally was side tracked the whole time. After breakfast I jumped in a cab and headed to dennys across from the airport. Met pops for lunch, then I headed home.

I’ve since called bernedna , the girl from my final night, she even called me once. The call that cut it off for me was her asking for $400 for a place ticket to the DR. I told her to get off her ass and hustle some guys like she did me. She took it well since I’ve always been real to the point with her. That is the type of girl she is. I haven’t and won’t send a dime. If I return and shes not in the DR , I will definitely get with her again. One thing I didn’t do was get attached to this one at all. It was purely sexual. That’s what it should always be, I learned this lesson from wendy this trip. I have not called wendy since and never plan too.

Im sick and bored of Costa rica! If it didn’t have good fishing , I doubt I would be down there ever.

Latinalover and I just returned from Costa Rica this week, and I found the girls and experiences similar to what you just described. I had not been down there for approx two yrs and found things to be even worse now, as stated. In general poor to lousy service or a big hassel, which certainly dampens the mood, affecting the enjoyment at the very least. I don't underrstand what the big deal is there other than it's close/convenient; I for one would rather travel a little farther and be assured of a good time.
LIMA and Rio-----doesn't get any better than that!

Funny Shit...

Many guy are under the impression we should be gentlemen even after they start the hard core puta shit. I disagree. I think we should be nice as long as there being nice. When they break out the hard core shit, we should treat them accordingly. I tossed the Venezuelan chic below out on her ass when she did that shit to me this last trip. Because of all the dumb-shit gringo weekenders packing Del Rey, the demand is still greater than the supply. Meaning the Puta Union will gradually raise the rates, while diminishing the level of service. Sooner or later we'll be lucky to get a hand-job for $100...

Smuckin,, sorry to hear about your sour-girls experiences in Costa Rica. It happened to me too. I fell for this lovely girl,Cindy that I met in Del Rey in july-2005 my first trip to CR.
you can see the pics with Cindy that I've posted in my CR trip report. she is good looking but she did manage to make me send her 150 dollars from the states and a huge box of chocolates for christmas. and got shit in return for it. We should try Costa Rica togheter, looks like we have same taste in women.

but with Cindy I had her the whole night for 100 dollars. I told her that was my limit and that was it. she said ok np with that.
I will give costa rica a chance , but I'am thinking PERU, MUCH BETTER SERVICE IN PERU, and the girls are very HOT .!!

I agree I have mongored PERU and the girls are young and hot especially at PIZZA ALLEY, I dont mongor much anymore in Peru because I got a lady down their (Gorgeous 12 yrs younger) and she is hot and a great person. I havent been to CR in 2 years but I am going to return but damn after reading all this I might skip it all together
