Evening two: after a dinner at Margarita Station with a couple of fellow troublemakers (one an ex-resident of Rio), we began our barhop. We started at Bunny Ranch (don't get excited, GCL, they're not big enough to sue) but saw nothing of interest. Next stop was Vegas, which I'd never set foot in. There were a few cuties in the line-up. The place has seating around a circular dance floor, and the girls to choreographed routines in the center. LOL...it's a few years (or decades, depending on who you talk with) too late to worry about AC. I think the economy has done more to spoil AC than the bar owners and politicos, maybe. Now that places like Rio are more expensive than they once were, the bargain hunting mongers are showing up in droves in AC and Pattaya. I noticed a group of 4 Americans in the PB this morning, all talking about "the old days" in Rio. Add to that the tons of Koreans literally throwing money around the bars, and you've got a scene on the decline for sure. So my paltry little TR will have no impact.

As for Jakarta, I will be back there again, but I don't think Jakarta will ever attract the same crowds as AC/Pattaya/Rio. Getting around Jakarta, and getting good service, requires a bit more effort and skill there. The "point-and-shoot" mongers would get nothing but bule stinkface looks from the Jakarta girls. So I don't think there's any cause for worry. And I could never provide the kind of enticements in a Jakarta report that others, such as MongerX, haven't already provided.

Yes, Grace and cousin did not charge. That night when Grace and her friend Tina came over, I gave them 1000 each. Cheaper than paying the EWR, and they kept it all. So, where was I?

Sundays are typically slow days/nights in AC, and this was no exception. Khun_Mor and I met up and toured a few Fields bars. After stopping off at Gecko's to allow me to give Irene the tip I'd failed to give her the night before (too much alcohol and sex can cloud the mind), we wandered up and down the street, popping into a few places, and things were pretty quiet. We swung by Body Shop and had a nice visit with papasan Rob--one of the millions of AC residents known to KM)--and a few girls. KM had to head out to take care of other obligations, so I connected with a couple of other guys and we continued the search for Miss Wrong.

We again wandered the length and breadth of Fields, and I have to say, it seemed like it was an off night. Inspiration never struck, despite the best efforts of some of the girls. We wandered into a few bars with 40+ girls and not a single one doable.

Yes, you can generally barfine anyone who's amenable to going out with you. That includes cherry girls, waitresses, door girls, mamasans...just ask if she's available. In one of the bars I hit last night with KM, the wait staff was much hotter than the girls on stage. The BF fee varies from place to place, but is typically the same as for the dancers.

Can't tell you the BF fees for those places. I all honesty, I hate those big "super clubs." They have a sterile atmosphere created by the layout and the distance from seats to girls. Most have a tiered system starting at 1500 for regular dancers up to 3000 for featured dancers.

It's a lot like Zen said. If you get out when the bars open there are a fair number of doables but, by 11:00 most of them were gone. At 11:00 the choices become much more limited. In Pattaya at 11:00 you can still find lots of hot girls.

I do somewhat agree with Porker that the price of a Pattaya gogo girl is greater than an AC gogo girl, but not by that much. In AC it's going to run 1,400 Pesos in Pattaya with good bargaining you can get down to 1,600 Baht. At current exchange thats $31.00 compared to $46.00. Now the Pattaya girl is short time and the AC girl is long time if not a runner. The Pattaya girl long time is more likely to be $75.00. More and more I'd rather do her and sleep alone. Also Pattaya has beer bar and Soi Six girls who are a little more needing search through to find the doables, but are more close to the AC price.

This doesn't mention that my hotel is much cheaper and my meals are much cheap, and better in Pattaya.

On the other hand the pool parties are in favor of AC, AC girls are much less photo shy, have better English, more open to bareback, more loaded with STDs, younger, more willing to party in general, AC has Cherry girls and Mens, Pattaya has neither.

In the end it comes down to what you want out of your trip and which you like better.

My experience is that the Pattaya girl is 90% to be a 2 hour at best, while the AC girl is 50-50, maybe up to 80% if she thinks you are a possible money-ko (almost always a ST tourist). If you're in that latter category, you will almost surely like AC better. If not, better crunch some numbers to see which side you prefer.

But always keep in mind: IF you can throw around enough nightly money to attract a Thai go go girl's attention, then you have way beyond MORE than what it takes to have the "hottest" in AC (yeah, for so many, that's a RELATIVE term compared to those 5 years older, tattoed, implanted Thai chicks...) to await your next trip there. Maybe you want to exercise your exercicse your 'exclusive' option on one there. Hell, buy her a business, send her to school. Don't be a tightwad!!!
