Arrived In AC at about 8am on 13th Feb. after a direct overnight flight from Oz. Thought it would be great idea to grab a few beers in manila for the drive. Only took 1Hr 10mins and 3 beers. My room was not ready at Pacific Breeze, this WAS as expected. The driver had pointed out Santos St. on the way in so I skipped breakfast in favor of checking out a few BJ bars and more beer. Managed to aquire BJ, got a hair cut, back to PB to see if room was ready. Caught up with Groovygator and his heirum at Shanos at some stage in the afternoon and was well on the way with the beers at this stage. Met up again with Gator and his Afgan buddy "JP" at Geckos and proceded to bar hop.
Discovered "Cherry girls" and their un-quenchable thirst for lady drinks. Picked up a LT from Crystal Palace and she got me to go sing some karaoke before heading back. At some stage it had become Valentines Day and I had aquired a new Valentine or so I was told.

Wow.....I think that was a personal best drinking binge. starting at 06:30am in manila and finishing at 03:00am in AC the next day. I had met KM at Mo's at some stage but I was so hammered that I had to check my camera to make sure.
Well the next few days are a bit of a blur...lots of bars, lots of beer and lots of girls. I had no problems finding hot little spinners. They were everywhere at any time....and I am the picky type. I did have to kick-out girls on 3 occasions but had no trouble at all finding quality replacements.....even at 01:30am. Did not wake up alone once.
As per usual with my trips I got the best on the last night, Marilyn from King of Diamonds(very nice little bar)she is tall, very slim, passionate and 18. I seriously did her all night and if I did not have to leave town in the morning I may well have retained her. I did have 1 girl called Donna, she was my fall back when I got too drunk to make decissions, after spending 3 non-consecutive nights with me she decided she loved me( or she wanted to join the western union club)hahaha. Bumped into KM a few times but he was running to his own adgenda, maybe next time KM

I have been reading Bwana diks trip report and discussion and would like to add my own opinions and observations on the question or Pattaya Vs. Angeles. This was a Big part of the reason for my AC trip.
If the perpose of a trip is mainly focused on girls and mongering I would go back to AC rather than Pattaya, But I could see how AC could get boring. I also spent a lot more money in AC than I would have in Patt(mostly on f***ing lady drinks).This may well be in part, due to being my 1st trip to AC and dispensing many many pesos while feeling my way around.
Pattaya seems to me to be a better place to party and more things to do when not mongering. I also find the Thai girls more attractive(apart from the tattoos)
I stay away from the gogo bars in Patt and stick to beer bars, the girls are nicer, cheaper and just as pretty. Gogo girls look great on stage but once they get changed and into decent lighting they look no better than a beer bar girl. But having said this, a beer bar girl is far more likely to turn down your advances if she dont like the look of you, this dont happen to me often (Im 40 yo) but it does happen. Well I think it is all part of the fun anyway. It does seem to me that I can sit at a Pattaya beer bar and play with the girls for as long as I like and have a much smaller bill than I would have in AC even though the price of drinks(excepting lady drinks) is cheaper in AC.

Hey Doc. Nice meeting you however briefly. I was not avoiding you or trying to be unsociable but I have found as I travel to AC more often I have made a solid group of friends among ex pats and bar managers. My dance card is getting pretty full even before I arrive these days. Pre arranged meetings and last minute encounters both. Borrowed a friend's motorcycle this trip and had a blast riding in the countryside with my GF hanging on for dear life. Found plenty to keep me occupied during the day this trip.

Last month was also my first trip to AC.
I will visit this shithole again but Pattaya takes the cake on AC. I don't buy LD and dont care about the price of LD...it just worthless. It's like the guy in the bathroom who wants a tip for handing me a fucking napkin!
I was buying rounds to the guys at the bar before the girls. It's not like your going to lose any points by not buying a drink. Your only buying them orange Tang. Try buying them some shots, which most places refuses.

Talent...it took me about 3-4 bars to find a doable and coming in from Pattaya and BKK made my standards some what high.

How can you spend more money in AC then pattaya, when its twice as less.

Daytime action would be the Dollhouse since its 24hr. I would swing by at 11am and 8pm on the shift change.

Also, girls in AC are much nasty in bed then Soi 6. Girls in AC tend to be lazy and try to spend a night unlike Thailand.

gogo bars are a must since I can see a clear shot of their stomach and ass.

Lewis grand has some decent rooms but its off the beaten track. ($39 for a king is a deal)

I dont do Gogos in Patt except for a look and the very occasional ST. I prefer to spend my time and get LT girls from beer bars THB 300 for BF and THB 1000 for girl LT and always negotiated and confirm before BF is paid, also establish that she will do BJ. So this is not much more than AC.

If you want to enjoy a trip to a beer bar in Pattaya then Here is a small piece of information in case you were not aware.
When it comes to tips, if you leave the tip on the tray it goes into the pot and gets shared among all the bar staff, but if you give a tip directly to a girl by placing it directly into her bra or panties she gets to keep it all for herself. So there is no problem with sticking your hand in a girls panties so long as the hand contains THB50 note.
50 is the ideal tip, 20 too little and 100 too much. Ever noticed that those 50 Baht notes are hard to come by?. OR...try getting a fist full of 20s and when the girl realizes what you are about she will start to show you all of the places that she has available for you to put them without caring too much about who is watching. 3x20s should get you a good look and feel and a bit of fun. I think(IMHO) that you have judged AC a bit harshly. I could have had more fun in Pattaya for less money, or , longer fun in Patt for the same money, but I am realy glad that I checked out Angeles City, Philippines. I have no regrets(well...just one, but that was my own stupidity)

Maybe its just me...the beer bars a bit boring. On my last several trips, I would have to walk by all the beer bar platforms toward the beach rd. All wearing jeans/shirts and aggressive but I couldnt find any talent. Mostly girls over 27-30 which is a no-no.
At a freelance club like Lucifers or Mixx my cost will be $1000 THB for two hours. Usually they tell me no at first, then 30 mintues go by and they accept (better then standing around right). Go go's are a bit tougher, my last trip at Super gogo, I paid 1200 for ST + 600BF
