I know a lot of you do not like the bullfights - I happen to enjoy the atmosphere with plenty of cheap beer and food sold in the stands. Also they usually have a concert of mexican music after the event.

The 17th the bullfights will be at the arena by the playas. What's worthwhile to see is that a Rejoneador
(Giovanni Aloi) will be part of the show along with the matadors. For those of you that do not know Aloi fights the bull on horseback - it is just him and his horses against the bull - no other help. The rejoneador usually uses three horses to carry out the fight. If he does not kill the bull with the sword on horseback with his first attempt he is required to dismount and fight the bull with his sword on the ground.

The rejoneador is very elegantly dressed and the horses are beautiful. Also the arena by the playas is a nice break and the concert is usually pretty good.

The horses he uses are very valuable and extremely well trained. I have seen two Rejoneadors and
