Chances are they would have backed down if Daytimer insisted on going to see the judge, but it's a chance that he figured wasn't worth the risk... I support him in his decision, yet I agree we should never give cops in TJ $$$. It's a catch 22.. Damned if you do and possibly dead if you don't.. In TJ you are guilty until they decide to let you go... They tell us street prostituion is illegal and the only legal ones are in bars, then they pull this kind of shit... They can make ANYTHING they damn choose illegal at any given moment in order to rob gringos (or even their own)... For those calling names (moron) don't judge too soon until you've been in the same situation... I can't say what I would have done but it's easy to sit here at the key board and say never give the bastards money, hehehe.. |
