| I knew I would be attacked by posting about my problem with the cops. There are a few who lurk just to insult people whenever they can. It does not bother me. I have seen what has happened to others, so I was prepared. It think it is important to post good and bad. Maybe I made a mistake. The truth is that I have never even thought about what I would do if I was arrested. It caught me by surprise. I did not think the cops were really going to follow through with their threats because they were so polite. They never laid a hand on me. Next time I will go to see the judge. The problem was I needed to get home to go to work. I work a 12 shift and have no back up. I would lose the money I paid the cops anyway and have the imbarrassment of calling my boss to tell him I was in jail in TJ. The cops had me in a tough spot. It is a scary experience to be picked up by the cops and be threatened. All I could think of was to get the hell out as fast as possible. Paying the "fine" in the car got me out the fastest way possible. I did not want to spend several hours or over night to resolve the situation. One more thing I am going to say will make some mad, but I am not bragging. I am just stating a fact. The $260 is not really a big deal to me. I spend about $10,000 per year in TJ, so the "fine" I paid is a little over one week's budget for TJ. I was not going to risk more touble over a small amount of money. So, you could easily call me a moron for going to TJ at all and spending so much money. I would have to agree that it is not the smartest thing to be doing anyway. We are all morons when you think about it. Perhaps I am only a little bit more of a moron than most.
