However, if you're set on 'buying' some time to get a feel for la chica, you may be able to get her to do so. The method that's worked well for me is to offer to buy her 'something' at one of the 'food carts' that line the streets. (there's one near almost every SG, and they usually eat there anyway, so in effect you're providing them a free meal.) This allows them to stay in thier place, and it gives you a few minutes to get to know la chica. (mejor para ambos) As for getting them to go Any distance to join you at your hotel. Odds are VERY MUCH against you, at first. (partly for her saftey and trust reasons, partly because she doesn't want to leave her spot on the street for too long) However, once a 'relationship' has been built, you MAY be able to go down that road. Cascadas is a much better alternative if you're just lookeing for a 'better' hotel. (better odds of getting a 'si' by the SG) A final option, if she is just not willing to go to any other hotel is to keep a cheap sheet in your bag, and place that on the bed while she undresses. Some chicas will think you're nuts, but more often than not, they appreciate the gesture. Just my experience. SE |
