You don't have to walk up past 8th street to find tacos de carne asada with freshly made tortillas. My alltime favorite is Los Albaņiles which is on 2nd street between F and G streets. The 8 peso tacos are 3 times the size of the tacos sold at the carts on Coahuila. Even closer is Taqueria La Chuleta at 4th and Martinez-the next street over from Niņoes Heroes. I don't think either has suadero but I'll check the next time I'm there.
