| More like NC may not even bother putting the board back on line, given that people are blaming him for anything. Can't say that I'd blame him if he pulls the plug for good. With the possible exception of the esteemed Mr. O'Toole, NC has done more for our community than anyone else, and his thanks has been for people to criticize him on how he chooses to run his own house. Imagine for a moment that a group of guests came to visit you each night in your house, and have a little bs session. As time went on, the guests started to have little fights between themselves. Slowly the fighting started to get out of hand, and dominate the conversation. Then, the guests started to be critical of you for everything; the color of your furniture, the snacks that you served, and the company that was invited to the get together. Wouldn't you get pissed?? That is exactly what's happened over the past few months. To those who contributed to the knowledge of the board, 'thank you'. In any society, the members of the community have ALL the authority to make the society the best, or worst, that is possible for it to be. The ONLY thing that need be done is for EACH member of the community to adhere to the norms that they believe are good and true. It is when the members of the community stop taking personal responsibility for their own behavior, and instead look to the 'leadership' to solve all that they deem as wrong with the society, that every society will eventually fail. Think about it. One thing is for sure. Those of you who were fighting so hard to get Lakers banned from the board got your wish.
