| During my morning meanderings around the grimey, dusty streets of TJ, bleary-eyed, cup of coffee in my hand, I occasionally come across the interesting oddity...nude beggers, mangey dogs with supperating hip wounds, one-legged, one-eyed parrots hobbling along the sidewalk....but in this case, the Hotel San Nicolas. It's located on Avenida Madero (768 Madero according to their business card) between Calle Primera (First St.) and Calle Segunda (Second St.)...The area is pretty grimey, the exterior of the building not too impressive..but, always looking for a nice place to spend the night I popped in and was impressed by the "look and feel" of the lobby...well-appointed - deep leather chairs, potted plants, natural wood walls...Looked pretty nice. But, I have yet to stay there...Anybody have any experience with this hotel? Chica policy? KRICO
