| I would probably stay at the Motel 6 in San Ysidro. It’s clean, safe and reasonably priced. It is about a mile or so from the border crossing just behind K-Mart. There is a KFC and Denny’s right next-door for some quick eats. ------------ If you are willing to spend a few extra $$ you might want to try the Pueblo Amigo on the TJ side. It’s a nice place and is close to the border. The plaza around the hotel also has some good clubs, restaurants and a sports book.
