Daytimer I too go by myself but at night.I speak spanish and if you seem to fit in you usually will not be bothered.Like I have said for 4 years learn some spanish and always be on your guard not only from the rateros.Remember in the zona you are always a target if you are a lone gringo.I know I will probably be flamed for this but you are a walking wallet in the zona.If anyone really believes different they are just fooling themselves.There are some beautiful places and people in Mexico and Tijuana but they are not in the zona.They are looking to get american dollars anyway they can and some(including the chicas)will do anything to get it. |
