TMoney - I am in a similar situation as you mentioned in your post. Though I also understand some guys wish to be anon. I have met a few upstanding guys from this board and plan on meeting more. But looking at the history of RS some people who met through RS couldn't get along on a PERSONAL level and brought it back to the board and screwd allot of people in the process. One thing we all have in common is everyone here enjoys the chicas, that doesn't mean that everyone will make a good drinking buddy or someone you can trust to watch your back. As of what happened to me last week, geting jumped... I will no longer make solo TJ runs and luckily I now have some friends with common interests both toward TJ and other travel adventures to hang with. I guess the intent of this message is that to each his own, I myself am carefull who I meet not only for privacy reasons but I don't want to be envolved with the kind of stuff we saw on RS. Scooter |
