My experience has only been on Blvd. St. Denis and Place Pigalle ( at the so-called "American" bars...which are really a rip. If you think you can get "milked" for bucks at a TJ bar, try an "American" bar in Pigalle. I've heard about the "van girls", they are also around the Arc de Triomphe and the Bois de Boulogne...Ave. Foch. I've walked, several times from the Bastille to the Bois de Boulogne (along Foch).It's a long walk but you can sure see alot. There are a lot of obvious TV's in the Bois de Boulogne ...but you can see "workin' gals' all along that stroll( rue de Rivoli, Champs Elysees, Foch) at any time of the day. Not a lot, mind you...because the main action street is on St, Denis, up by Strasbourg -St. Denis metro stop. The thing is, is that the French hookers dress like they are heading out for a day at the office. But they do "indicate" they are available. Sometimes they'll just stare at you. Other times they'll make a sucking noise or something. The French street girls are very clean or at least the ones I picked were, and the apartments they stayed in were tastily appointed. They really do have a different esthetic sense. Everything was with a condom, but then I didn't ask for "sans le preservatif". Rue de Gravelle, I know nothing about. Depending on the value of the franc v/s the dollar, a St. Denis street girl will run you about 50 bucks. I've paid as high as 60 (per girl on a double) and I've been rejected at 35, so... A friend of mine recommends a bar called "Queen" which is over by the Arc de Triomphe, I believe....but it's one of those damn American-style bars, I think. RS had a few Paris posts on it by a guy that lucked out real good on the Champs Elysees...ended up with a showbabe fox for two days, I think it was. But it cost him quite a bit if I remember correctly. KRICO |
