P Dude: You have got to be kidding me, taking the Clippers over the Lakers. As long as the idiot, Donald Sterling is owner of the club, they will always be a loser team. I can acknowledge that they have a great group of rookies this year. But that was a gift from God and let's see how the stinginess of Sterling manages lose them to other teams at the end of their contracts. All of the polls still pick the Clippers to come in Dead LAST. Well, if you are sober, sane and not high, I commend you for being a true fan. But still, I would be a fan of so many other teams out there, other than the Clippers. I've had Laker season seats for close to 20 years. Lots of people hate the Lakers (the team, remember dudes) but they are a great organization. Uhh, how many times have the Clippers won the Pacific Division? Does it all come down to winning? Not necessarily, but it does help, to make going to games or watching on TV great. In past years, the media ads for the Clippers were to watch the other teams coming to trounce the Clippers. SEE MICHAEL JORDAN,...etc. It wasn't, "we have a great team, come see the Clippers". Funny how my same seats at a Clipper game is $20 less per seat. The biggest disparity is that the court side seats are over $1,000 for Laker games and the Clipper games, the same seats are $300. Supply and demand Baby. |
