Seriously, I agree with your asessment. However, I do again point out that it is often the 'new' adventurer who finds a new place, as he wanders the 'undiscovered country'.

I so not wish to suggest that people not explore other areas. I wish only to suggest that as a 'newbie', one takes the time to learn about the environment that is la zona and TJ, before they go exploring. Otherwise, disappointment is likely, with possible danger lurking in the shadowns.

While neither a failure to get laid by a 'small' bar chica, or a choke hold mugging on the street are likely prove deadly, either one will put a damper on enthusiasm to retun to TJ. As Billypv put it, "Learn to WALK first, then RUN."
