That's like saying that MacDonalds must have good food since they are always crowded. :) Seriously, AB and the CC are THE spots for gringos simply because they have been discovered and are "in". At the final moments of RS it appeared that SGs were finally being discovered by the masses as a viable alternative to the noise and hassle of the bars. A while back many guys were opting for the massage parlors. Who knows what discoveries will be made in the future. Maybe it's just as well that most guys gravitate to the same places and never leave them.
