Sorry to hear, but glad you reported. I like your idea of the magnetic key holder under your car bumper, I've thought of it but have put it off... I do take only the one spare car key to TJ & leave the other one with house keys in the motel (US side).. The other precautions are to keep your DL in the upper part of your shoe. You can insert it in a plastic window from a credit card holder or wallet. I never take a wallet to TJ and have money stashed so many places (including shoe) they would need a whopping 5 minutes to find it all... These things take place in less than 2 minutes from what I've heard and once observed... The time of day doesn't matter though there seem to be more muggers on the night shift from the reports thus far. What a hassel to get your DL replaced... I've thought why not get a spare sometime. Just say you lost it (before you do) then you will have a spare for if or when you really do need one, but, who has time for all this preparedness?
