I'd love to hear the straight scoop from a Mexican attorney...but they may not know the answer. After reading the article about the CC/Boyd case, it became very evident that Mexican law is almost deliberately vague in this area. It reflects an almost neo-Victorian attitude regarding sex. "Yes, we know this stuff is going on, but not really...and if we catch anybody doing soemthing we don't like ( as a society), well, we might just do something about it...maybe.") I don't mean to make light of this...it's just one of the very distinctive things about Mexican culture and society. It's the moral equivalent of the latin literary sytle known as "magic realism", where events occur outside the linear order of time and space. You just never know what's gonna happen or what's exactly what...but you have an idea...sort of.... KRICO
