Redongdo: I don't know the number of mic's in the stuff we used to take. It's all sort of a blur now anyway (I do have a diploma somewhere, and occasionally phrases pop into my head like "recombinant DNA" and "iambic pentameter", so presumably I did go to college). But I went to school in the midwest, not California, and by 1970 the stuff we were getting was really lame. Couldn't get organic mescaline anymore. The Sandoz Laboratory wasn't able to get the really good acid to our little corner of the world. I just remember psylicybin and STP becoming weaker and weaker and having to take more and more. Don't know if my body developed a tolerance or the stuff was just too weak, or both. Anyway, I finally just gave up on it entirely. Then again, maybe in middle age I've developed Al Gore Syndrome...
