Thanks, LaredoJim, Especially, the correction on the NYPD... BTW, there's a book out, "How The Irish Saved Civilization" by Thomas Cahill - a great read. While all of Europe was sinking into the Dark Ages, reverting to the irrational doctrines of annointed feudal kings, destroying libraries of accrued knowledge,...the Irish monks were quietly, copying ( by hand!) scientific texts, literature, etc...for rebirth in the future...(Renaissance) KRICO |
