I can tell you the price in the early 70's was 5 bucks for a "half-and-half" at a TJ whorehouse way out on the outskirts of town, a BBBJ was $2.50 at the bars on Revolucion...beer was 35 cents a bottle/can....and Emilio, the cab driver (now 71 years-old) was working his cab on Revolucion and 6th, just like he is today. BUT: gas in the US was 25 cents a gallon, minimum wage as about $1.35 an hour, you could live well on 125 bucks a week, a McDonald's hamburger was 20 cents, NV pussy was 10 bucks, all blackjack games were single deck....and you COULD beat the dealer.
