Adelitas: Weekdays: Bar opens at 10 AM, where there will be fewer than 5 chicas reporting at that early hour, none much worth writing home about. The numbers will gradually increase every hour after that. Expect about 10 by 11 AM, 15 by noon, 20 by 1 PM, peak will be about 50 chicas around 3:30. Quitting time for day chicas can be as early as ~ 5:30, but many work until ~ 9PM. There should be a pretty good selection in the bar by 2 PM on almost any day of the week. At AB they come in all shapes and sizes, from anorexic to obese. The range in the daytime would be from undoable to a strong 8+. Saturday: Bar should be fully staffed in the daytime by 1 PM. On Saturday at 2 PM, there will be at least 80 chicas standing around and probably 100+ dudes. By 10 PM, I'd guess 120 chicas, 300 guys. Have fun making laps in that sweatbox. Tropical: Any daytime: Bar opens at 10, most day chicas start at noon, though they are free to roam from bar to bar or restaurants or to lounge in their hotel rooms during working hours, so it pays to check back from time to time. By mid-afternoon, Tropical will have a good 15-20 chicas working, and some are very, very pretty. The chicas at Tropical are for the most part younger than they are in any other Zona bar, with 22 being practically over the hill. Miami: Any daytime: Plenty of chicas after noon, but they have never much appealed to me, being on average fatter, older, and more conservatively dressed (not casual like in Tropical) than chicas in more popular bars. Chicago: Any daytime: Miles of empty seats. I think they shoot for a half-dozen girls. They tend to be older and more worn-out than any of the above bars. I avoid this place in the daytime, and so does just about everyone else on the planet. The good news is that the broads that work in the daytime there will be quite glad to have you throw them a bone. La Tropa: Any daytime: Supposedly there will be at least a couple of chicas within a handclap at all times after noon. The dayshift counts about 8 girls, but they aren't chained to the bar, so don't be surprised to see the place empty. They do tend to hang out there for awhile during the floorshow, and if it isn't going on and you don't see available attractive chicas, I'd advise you to walk right back out and tell them WHY. Las Chavelas: Varies wildly. Thursday afternoon 2 weeks ago saw 10 chicas in the bar, and about the same number of guys. Yesterday at 3 PM there were twice as many people. I doubt I will EVER understand the appeal of this place, though. VERY focused on the ranchero set. Manhattan: AVOID during the daytime. There's Lizbet the crazy paunchy drunk and Yudit the cow-like drunk, and a couple of others who are probably less attractive than they are… The night shift is a bit better, and the chicas start rolling in about 9 PM. They used to all be required to shower at the beginning and end of their shifts, making the 8:30 to 10 hour an absolute MUST see, but that was waaaaay too entertaining, so they of course 86'ed THAT. NY opens ~ 6, but there aren't any chicas there 'til about 9. Pollo opens ~ 7 and chicas start straggling in about that time in order to change for work, w/ the floorshow starting around 8.
