Its between Amor Latino and New York. I was in there last Tuesday for a couple of hours between about 4:00 and 6:00 pm. I went in because a few weeks ago Alexia, the cigarette lady from Molono Rojo, told me she was working there. Inside I saw about a dozen girls, half presentable and half well upholstered. Three or four not bad at all. Maybe an equal number of guys. A lot of waiters hustling for drinks.

Gringos are apparently a novelty (or maybe it's dollars). I got a lot of attention. Ended up buying 3 drinks for a nice looking girl named Anna, who turned out to be one of the dancers (she told me Alexia no longer worked there).

Showtime was a little unusual. Although the atmosphere is kind of like one of the Mexican alley bars, they try to put on a production type show. Started out with all of the dancers (eight in all) performing a couple of numbers on the two stages. Then they came on two at a time (one on each stage, alternating stages between songs). Three songs each set with the girls ending up topless, some with g-strings at the knees (a couple would have looked better keeping their tops on!). Anna turned out to have a nice body and a pretty good dance routine.

Half way through the strip show a couple of guys (the MC and an older guy) sang a couple of songs each.

I don't know what the deal is as far as going to the hotel (or which hotel they use for that matter - there is a ratty looking one right next door). Anna didn't hustle me for a trip to a hotel. English was at a premium in there and my Spanish and hearing weren't up to the task of asking a lot of questions.

Interesting enough place that I'll drop in again sometime.

Also, dropped in Bar Pelicano around 7-7:30. The trend continues - they had some nice looking ladies in there.
