Spanish classes

Does anyone have any experience with taking the Spanish classes that are offered in Spanish speaking countries?
I'm thinking about taking one in Costa Rica my next long trip. They offer a couple of different courses. The one I'm interested in is a one on one class that is 3-4 hours a day for 5 days.
In the meantime I'm using one of the Pimseleur beginner courses. (It's pretty good)
