Well, channel 12 news... The initial story was about some kind of raid on bars in Mexico City. They showed a number of hoochie mama looking chicas being led away by the cops. Gee, I wonder what kind of bar THAT was. They then did a followup on TJ bars. Nice shots of Manhattan and New York, the colorful hi-rise hotels in the Zona and some Rev. clubs like Rio Rita. The focus of the story was the FIRE DEPARTMENT, and there were extended interviews with the fire chiefs and many shots of the fire trucks at the stations. Sounds like some fire inspections are upcoming at bars. I guess there is a real danger in the panochas being demasiado caliente!!! Listening to all of the commentary showed me just how pathetic my comprehension is in espanol. I caught about one word in 4 -- a big wakeup call after I was batting about .750 on the subtitles at the movie last week. Anybody who speaks Spanish catch this report on TV Azteca? |
