No matter which of the 'nicer' hotels you choose. (PA, Grand, Lucerna) You need to be discreet in bringing back your 'girlfriend'. Specific learned this in the nicest way possible, from the hotel's point of view. I recall reading much uglier stories of confrontations with hotel staff in some cases. I've always made it a practice to make sure that my 'date' knows that the 'todo del notche' is planned, and have never had a chica not be prepared with the appropriate attire. If you're planning an impromptu night, or are planning on taking a 'chica de la calle', you might consider spending $20-$30 at one of those 'Junior Bargain' stores that are popping up in all the malls. For the noted price, you can get a full outfit for your 'date', excluding shoes. You will be covered as far a hotel entrance is concerned, and 'your chica' will be THRILLED, so long as your taste is even close to being good, and you get the sizes right. (Just trust me on this. It's not that hard and goes a LONG way to setting up a FANTASTIC evening)
