I always find it strange when someone asks if they have a right to be angry about something. Of course you do - nobody can tell you what is or is not a legitimate emotional response to a situation. (Just an observation, Aardvark, not in any way a negative comment toward you.)

As far as how I personally would feel: If it was simply "I'm a friend of", it would be no big deal as long as they were not using that to try to get special treatment from the girl. This would be especially true if they were talking to someone whom I considered a friend, as opposed to someone who I had only a sexual relationship with. On the other hand, if they were repeating information that anyone with half a brain should have the sense to keep private, I would get very irritated, but would let it slide as long as it never happened again after I told them my feelings.

P.S. When are you going to make it down on a weekend again, Aardvark? I have not seen you in quite a some time.
