One thing I love about this board are the bits of life perspective and philosophy that are frequently and almost innocently put out by the posters. You're so right about "normal" people's reaction to all this stuff...the fact that we are "whoring" is bad enough...add to it the fact that we are whoring in MX with "foreign women" makes it even more threatening and bizarre...AND add to that the fact that we ENJOY it...the jealousy factor by other males is almost overwhelming. I've made the mistake of mentioning my excursions into MX to a few co-workers and I've literally had to leave the job...At first they are insanely, almost obsessively curious - these dorks really live lives of Thoreau-ian "quiet desperation"...then after awhile their curiousness becames a kind of rage and jealousy, usually followed by snide remarks (sometimes in the company of other co-workers who have no idea what I've been up to...so now there is sort of an implied threat of revelation...)
