Brother K, Interesting--thanks for posting this. Apparently, the desire to go on strike everytime something comes along to mess up one's comfortable little thang (like COMPETITION) is a universal French trait--not just the little pests who work for transportation and shut down the metro system fifteen times a year because they want another week paid vacation to go with the 20 they already have (plus immunity from being fired and replaced when they go on their fifteenth strike of the year), but even the PROSTITUTES think like this! More power to the immigrants who are lowering prices! Let those little native pouffiasses get with the program or get forced out of the market! I was in Paris in winter of 96 when those asshole strikers had the whole city shut down--couldn't get any mail, couldn't get a bus to go anywhere, nightmare. Now the damn WHORES want the govt. to intervene to keep them from satisfying paying customers at a reasonable rate! Unbelievable! I bet the EEuropean girls AREe "younger and fresher"--and CHEAPER too!! |
