This story has been told in so many venues...ASPT, other boards, and in my "trying to get friends to come to TJ" stories. It was my first trip to TJ and my only trip with a friend. I had been reading up on ASPT and of course, Brokton's FAQ. We came down for the weekend and after spending a good part of the first night on Rev, we headed to the zona. It was either NY or Manhatten and I saw her the first night early but then she disappeared. Later, she was sitting at a table with some older guys and i couldn't take my eyes off her. We made eye-contact a few times and I even did my patented "hands over heart" gesture that has always provoked a smile. My friend went up with some nameless chica but my mind was focused. Well, that night I didn't do any chicas but our waiter was our new best friend so I told him I'd be back the next night and I wanted her (as I pointed to her). He told me her name was Vanessa. The next night, my friend's chica was looking for a repeat performance and my waiter was looking for Vanessa. The next thing I know she's sitting next to me and I am entranced. She had braces at the time and spoke very little English but a deal was struck for an all-nighter at my hotel (Holiday Inn at the time) for $250. I still vividly remember her clenching her fist and doing a little "yessssssss" so as I wouldn't see. I won't go into details about the night but it was fantastic and the next day we went to Sanbornes for breakfast and then walked around Rev like a couple in love. It took almost 3 years for me to return to TJ but that experience gave a lasting impression. I only do allnighters and am always looking for experiences like that. Oh, upon my return to TJ, Vanessa was the "star" of CC and though we never even spoke again, I was still in awe of her as she danced and walked (regally) around the room. I've been told she is now married to an ex (I hope!!!!!) monger and they're both happy.
