BP, Once again, the truth comes out so innocently. Your point(s) of view about Latin culture has/have been irrevocably changed on a visceral level. Most "gringos" that I know are repulsed by the culture and the language (xenophobia...and they need to read Octavio Paz...). Yet you blithely offer "radical" and "shocking" opinions at American cocktail parties... When my chica buddies ask me to sum up gringos in general, the only thing I can say is "Tienen mucho miedo." - "They have a lot of fear...". I also give'em my little patent lecture about how 8 out of ten citizens of the US never ever leave the geopolitical borders of the USA( yes - not even to visit Canada or Mexico...)...and how weird it was for me to see Mexers' mouths moving and hear all these sounds coming from these moving mouths...and how "Tenia mucho miedo" "I had a lot of fear"... It's true...once baptized by the culture, you can't go home again...and there's no way you can really explain it all to the "non-experienced"... KRICO
