Well,...yeah. I mean I'm always amazed when I see Angela walk off with another gringo...not that she's not good ( I've never done her...she seems to be well-spoken of in general) but I've talked with her in Spanish...and she says she doesn't speak English that well or that much...True!. Just the little bit of English that she does speak creates a bond of trust with potential clients...which goes to show how important language really is... I met a couple of newbie guys ( in their 40's...) from the midwest one night and I spent a half-hour pointing out hot chicas to them...who'd they both go up with? Angela! She spoke English. The one guy waited until his buddy finished so he could get a report...but it was all about that "comfort zone" of language... Just another sociological-anthropological observation... KRICO |
