I had read a few horror stories regarding using ATM's in TJ. I hit up the Banamex across from Rio Plaza on Saturday. Like the typical idiot I am, I pressed $200 and of course received 200 pesos. Then i got the maximum of $1500. When I checked my account online today I was charged US$1.25 fee, for the first and $0 for the second transaction. I have Bank of America. i feel this is quite reasonable and the exchange rate was also good. I had a really great weekend and enjoyed the time I spent with my fellow mongers... I had some recent surgery, so I wasn't out to set any records,but I have to mention that I had 2 encounters with Flor at CC, she was very nice and a very good time. I was also turned on to the pleasures of Aztec Massage, which I have walked by so many times over the years. Non sexual, but after a lot of walking ( especially up and down the stairs of Hotel Levya ) the massage was awesome and IMHO a steal at $20. Happy Hunting.....baddog |
