The board is probably reasonably secure. Of course, YOU are only as safe at your email address. That is why I suggest everyone use an anon email address. I was very sorry to see the old anon.nymserver.com disappear. I currently use SecureNym.NET for my email. I was using LatinMail.com, which seems pretty secure (and is free) but is the SLOWEST email system I have ever seen. IRC actually is more risky - especially as far as someone tracking who you are. There are ways to protect yourself, however.
