Gitano is also an "apellido" (last name) in Spanish...I've known a few "Gitano"s in my life...and then of course, there's the literary and legendary romantic connotation of the Gypsy...traveling far and wide, with nary a care, a celebrating, festive, musical soul seeking nothing more than the adventure and endless novelty of the open road....
