Story....Hoax?

I'm printing an exerpt from a post made to the Nanaplaza board. Can anyone recall seeing a similar story posted on Redsnake and subsequently deleted? I would imagine the setting would have been in MX. I don't recall seeing anything like this, but NC was quick to remove the trolls, etc. (long intro)... Murder in the Upcountry Less than 500 yards down the road, a gunman sprung from the roadside brush. He ran alongside the slow-moving Yamaha and fired two bullets in rapid succession into Lek’s neck and jaw. Dying immediately, Lek dropped the motorcycle, sending both the three-year-old and Noi tumbling to the ground. The child rolled away from the wreck and sat in the dirt, unsure of what was happening. Noi passed out as her head hit the earth, and then, moments later, awoke to find the gunman behind, his hands grabbing the long hair in the back of her head. He fired two shots in the back of the head, execution style. While the blood began spreading across the roadway, the gunman dug through Noi’s bag and removed her cellphone and 10,000 baht from her wallet. He tore a gold chain from her neck, then ran off. Family members and neighbors began to emerge from their houses. No ambulance was called (This is Thailand). Noi lay in a pool of her own blood trying to speak, and after 20 minutes, quietly died. I learned of the murders a few minutes after they occurred. A family member telephoned Noi’s friend, Nok, in Bangkok to let her know she would not be arriving on the bus from Korat. Waiting in Frankfurt for my Thai Airways connection to Bangkok, I called Nok to find out when Noi would be arriving in Bangkok. She was crying hysterically. She told me that the gunman was Noi’s ex-boyfriend, Somkit, with whom Noi had broken up with more than a year ago. (snip) Another poster made this comment. 6241.26 in reply to 6241.1 I have heard that this story was posted on Redsnake awhile back and was deleted by NCsnake; apparently he doesn't like fiction stories.
