Great advice, Porker... Ya gotta really take the bull by the horns in most of these situations. I had a bizarre experience in Ensenada, where a gorgeous stripper chick at the Paris club had me buyin' her drinks for a couple of hours ( in between sets...) and promising me that she'd be available ( in my hotel room) in "poco tiempo" ( a little time). Then when it became semi-obvious that she was-a-shittin' me...she changed her tune and said I could meet her the next day at her place and then taxi her back to my hotel...Long story short - Nothing came to pass...after "mucho tiempo y dinero gastado" (much time and money spent..). Point being, when you step away from the safe confines of places like Adelitas, Chicago Club, Anthony's, etc...you are really running the risk of "rechaza por chica" (rejection by chick). Eventually, we all will do stupid things down there...fall in love, cater to some lyin' 'tuta, be nice when we should be mean,...the whole panoply of fooldom... But ultimately, as you aptly point out, where there's a will...there's a way. Unless of course the situation is impossible...No, wait...that can't be right...or, well...maybe... KRICO |
