When I was at the CC last week I noticed one of the girls was walking out with what looked like a christmas present followed by a much older guy. I couldn't help but wonder how many of us were going to be bringing gifts to our favoritas for the holidays. Then I pictured the chicas tiny apartments FULL of presents from love struck gringos, each guy convinced that they're the only true amigo especial in the chicas life. Then I imagined the chicas actual Mexican boyfriend showing up, scratching his head and wondering how much dinero he could get for all these stupid presents, why maybe he could finally get a new set of tires, or replace that broken windshield on his truck..Oh well, I'll probably buy her something anyways. |
