Dude, You almost get into the Porker club with that kind of thoughtful analysis--add "fucking" to the front of what you got there, and what you say is almost as offensive as what he has been saying (which is, more or less, "I am a sexual deviant who has sex with girls I pay, girls who have sex with LOTS of other guys for pay, and I would be crucified by the majority of my countrymen were they to find out what I do because they are ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED that what I am doing is too risky, too dangerous, too immoral to be tolerated, even though they rarely look at facts and figures and therefore misunderstand the risks and the very nature of what it is I am doing--and yet, AMAZINGLY, this fact has seemingly not sensitized me IN THE SLIGHTEST to the problematic nature of making moral judgements about the behavior of people who aren't exactly like me, devoid of information and argument--I am in other words JUST LIKE THE PURITANS in my eagerness to be morally correct, I've just moved the moral purity scale over a few degrees closer to 'evil' from where they are, that's all--so anybody who does different things than I do is by definition either an "idiot" or a "fucking retard," and I am not required to make any argument for how I reach that judgement, even if they are suggesting that I misunderstand the magnitude of the risk difference between what I am doing and what they are doing"). I've made it as clear as I can possibly make it that we've been talking here ONLY about the risk of contracting *HIV* through condom-less vaginal intercourse, which is way low--that's where we came in, and that's been the focus of all my comments. OF COURSE, the risks for some other STDs go up signicantly w/out condom, and OF COURSE this presents dilemmas of all sorts (all of this depending on LOTS of other factors, like how often one does BB, with whom, etc.)--an important point you guys overlook is that THOSE DILEMMAS ARE ALREADY BEING PRESENTED BY THE SIMPLE FACT THAT YOU AND EVERYBODY ELSE HERE ARE FUCKING GIRLS WHO FUCK GUYS FOR A LIVING. The condom does not change anything except the number we attach to the risk. How much do you really think your number is changing if you ALWAYS use a condom, no matter how many guys are doing bareback? What a bunch of self-centered nonsense to be so convinced that everything I or anyone else does necessarily has some effect on YOU. I'd say 'see my response to the totally wack 'Kevin Bacon movie argument for why everything and everybody in TJ are connected'' except it and another long post I made last night got trimmed with the rest of the thread and I don't have the slightest desire to repeat myself on this, since none of y'all give any indication of being interested in listening anyway. The real point here in my opinion is that you are arbitrarily deciding to indict those not in agreement with your understanding of the morally correct and permissible percentage risk as "idiots," just like the Puritans indict those not in agreement with THEIR number as "perverts" or "sickos" or "evil." Don't be surprised if some of the "idiots" respond in their turn by calling you, say, 'moral fascist.'
