Doc, You have the same argumentative strategy as Porker, except you don't say "fucking" as much. You invent an argument no one ever made ("BBF does NOT increase the risk of AIDS? And you really can't get AIDS from heterosexual sex? ") and then proceed from there. That is, minimally, intellectually dishonest; I won't say what else it might be because you generally strike me as a morally upright guy. Why don't you at least try to get the arguments you are against RIGHT before you blow them away? NO ONE, I repeat NO ONE, myself included, ever said BBF doesn't increase risk of HIV infection--my point is that the establishment is all about a scare tactic, based in large part on the political lobbying of gay and liberal groups, to make it seem as though female to male HIV transmission is MUCH more prevalent and easy than it really is. If you have some facts that demonstrate otherwise, I would be happy to see them. |
