About this time last year the family member of a chica told a tale of love and joy to me. I thought I would share it for those of you making plans to visit your favoritas hometown etc. A happy go lucky So. Cal monger falls for a bailarina in a popular bar. Her smile is infectious and her words so sincere that soon he is coming to see her all the time. Well, like most ZN girls she has not been in TJ too long and she is missing her home stomping grounds so she suggests her and the monger go on a romantic little trip together. The happy monger buys plane tickets to one of the most southern (and currently dangerous) states in Mexico and they are off... Well they haven't been there long when the chica asks to borrow the rental car. She leaves him where they are staying and drives to a not so near by town TO VISIT HER X- BOYFRIEND. It is a nice reunion so they celebrate with some tequila and go cruising in the rental car. They crash the car, TOTAL the car, but luckily they are not hurt bad. She is panicking and doesn't know what to do so like any good lover she gets on a plane back to TJ without even telling the monger!!! Poor monger waits a couple of days not knowing what the hell is going on. (Oh yeah, he doesn't really speak Spanish either) Finally the rental car place informs him about the car. Due to insurance complications HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CAR!!! He is fucked. Back in So. Cal he does talk to her (me so sorry, me so sorry). Upon hearing this all I couldn't help but think, at what point do you think this guy felt SO FAR FROM HOME? Happy holidays |
