Guys I realize there are a number of dick head INS and Custom agents but, (not that I am sticking up for them) you have to look at what they are suspose to be doing and how badly they are failing. They are a group of frustrated individuals. There are some of them that are Prejudice as hell, and in my secondary interviews most did not even really know what they were suspose to be looking for on declaired items (cigars as an example). By knowing the laws and being polite most of the times gets you through. There have been times when I had to be an ass but that was because they were giving me shit over my daughter who is half mexican. A key thing to remember is that if they really want to be asses they can hold you for up to 72 hours. That is just on probable cause. I know a few that have been held for up to 12. I know it's hard to put up with their shit sometimes but, they need to be treated just as you would a cop in TJ sometimes. Also there are two new boarder patrol agents that I would love to get into bed with. I have been lucky enough to see them both twice now and they make think about turning around and heading back down to get taken care of again. They definitely do not fit your standard agent profile. When and if you see them you will know what I mean.
