It's amazing to me that grown men are scared to walk around the Zona. I have walked numerous times, day & night, all around the area. I cruised around by myself Saturday night at 5 a.m. I've walked through the alley, from bar to bar, and up and down the sidewalks. I never walk in the street, because the crazy crazy drivers are much more dangerous to me than the "banditos". The only incidents I have ever had are with the Policia, and they always just search me and let me go. They've never taken a dime from me. As long as you PAY ATTENTION to your surroundings, look around while you are walking, and don't present yourself as an easy target, I honestly don't see you having any trouble at all. I can only speak from my own experience, but I have no fear of the area, although I am CAUTIOUS. There is a difference. -Superman-
