I love to hear a girl speak spanish. For those of you who have tried to learn spanish, as i have, it is easy to understand why they don't speak english. You got it right though, effort. It's not that they don't want to speak english. They just don't want to speak english bad enough. Also, i believe, they know more than they speak. It is just that a girl gets embarassed easier than a guy when they only know a little of a second language to them. and its very hard sometimes not to laugh when they are speaking english. Some of their pronunciations are hilarious. but by me laughing, its a real turn off to her, so i try not to.
