In America we expect everyone to speak English and in Mexico they expect everyone to speak Spanish. The nerve! I suggest learning a little bit of Spanish and then you will not seem to be the provincial snob most Americans appear to be when visiting Mexico. Most chicas will help you with the effort if you try to speak Spanish at all. Granted there is a lot lost in translation, but they have a general idea what we want. LOL |
