I'll tell you why. These guys have the "White Knight" syndrome. I see it as a phase of learning the system. Most TJ bargirl aficionados go thru it - some NEVER seem to get over it. This phase seems to occur immediately after the initial "Zealous Jubilation" phase. The "Zealous Jubilation" phase ends when the "subject" finally realizes that "money really can buy me love", but the subject has blown TOO much money on love... So, he begins to seek "a deal". He figures if he treats a girl with respect, and "stays faithful", that maybe he can get his dollar to "go farther" - shoot maybe he can even be "a pimp". Unfortunately, 98% of the girls are already experts on to this "angle of the profession", and will use the "subject's condition" to ensure that all of his funds are diverted to HER bank account. And why not - it is really in her best interest to keep "regular customers", in order to smooth out the ups and downs of the business. As for the White Knight - I think he is being stupid; unless the girl actually quits the business, or at least significantly cuts down on her "activities" - the poor schmoe will get his heart broken. I've seen it played out a few hundred times.
